About Us

Since the mid-1970s, Kent Food Bank (KFB) has played a vital role in advancing food security and strengthening a resilient local food system in the Kent community, providing equitable access to nutritious food while adapting to changing community needs. As food insecurity has increased due to rising housing and living costs, inflation, lingering pandemic impacts, and instability in federal and state assistance programs, KFB has expanded both its reach and operational capacity to ensure households continued access to reliable support. We provide in-person shopping, home delivery and partnered support with multiple community distributors of food.
